As most of us, I have been taking personal photographs my whole life. As my design career developed most of my photography was turned toward site and place documentation for my design projects.

Over the past 5 years however, with increased lecturing and the wild-land experiences of Remote Studio, I have had the opportunity to experience the world, and places in the world in unique ways.

The result is the development of two kinds of photographs, those images captured while on the ground, and those ethereal images taken from the air. In both I try to capture the extraordinary of the ordinary. The aspects of our world that we pass by everyday, that are spectacular if we choose to stop and look.
